Brad & Laura were the first ever couple to hire me as a solo photographer for their wedding. The biggest milestone I’ve had so far in my 6 months as a photographer! Brad and Laura went to college with one of my best friends, and it was so cool getting to know them on a more personal level myself. Laura invited me to tour Sherman Gardens Library with her, and this was a perfect chance to meet and scope out spots to take portraits on the big day!

Information You Want About the Sherman Library & Gardens

I LOVED this venue! Truly one of my favorite venues in California. It was small enough to be intimate and get everywhere in a minute or two, but it was also big enough to explore and had different corners and spaces of unique personality. Truly, couples don’t need to do any decorating or work with a florist at a place like this because it’s so lushly green. This is one of a few venues I’ve been to and would absolutely LOVE to return to at any point!

The wedding came up quickly after they officially booked me, so it felt like a true test to my professionalism, skill, and organization. Brad & Laura were literally the most chill couple. They truly trusted what I was doing and were so kind to me throughout the entire process– they even sat me at a reception table for a plated dinner! That’s so rare! Every detail was beautiful, and it was so meaningful to be able to capture their special day. Just look at how sweet they are!
