There’s something about summer weddings in Maine, the air is warm, the light hits differently, and the energy is just completely unmatched. These two brought all the intentional, heart-filled vibes I live for. Every part of Portland Maine Summer Wedding Day at O’Maine Studios felt personal, like it was built from the ground up with love and care.
A Full-Circle Kind Of Story
I first met Zach and Lexi the year before during another Maine wedding I was shooting. I offered them a free session just for fun, and we clicked immediately! So when they reached out and asked if I’d come back for their own wedding day, I was all in! It already felt like we had history, which made documenting their story that much more meaningful. It’s the best when clients turn into friends and bring you into their world like this.
Details That Told Their Story
Nothing about this day felt random or forced, it was all super intentional and full of feeling. The venue, O’Maine Studios, had this perfect mix of clean and industrial while still being warm and welcoming for the reception. Their ceremony, which was outside, had this soft kind of stillness, where everyone just tuned in and felt it with them. From there, the whole day flowed with ease: hugs, happy tears, and a dance floor that did not quit. Even the small things, like handwritten notes and meaningful toasts, were so full of heart!
The Energy Was Unreal
There are weddings that feel like a good time, and then there are weddings that move you. This one was the latter. Everyone showed up with so much joy, and you could tell how deeply Zach and Lexi are loved! The getting ready moments were emotional in the best way, the portraits were effortless, and the party? Truly one for the books. They created a space where people could just show up and be themselves, and you better believe I was dancing right alongside them.
