Camp Photoshoot in Pacific City, Oregon

Escaping into the forest setting with Alex & Nicole for their camp photoshoot in Oregon was incredible. It was such a cozy environment, and it was so evident that with the trees and their cute camper, we were right in their element!

I could tell Alex had never really taken photos before and maybe felt a little nervous going into it. But once he opened up and focused on Nicole, the energy in him quickly shifted! He went from unsure and clarifying poses, to just downright having a fun time kissing his woman. It soon became another one of those situations where the couple was up for anything. And that’s truly where the real magic happens. We got unique with our posing and prompts. They were in the trailer, sitting on the trailer, on the ground, jumping into each other’s arms… they were doing it all. And they were having a blast doing it!

The Perks of a Camp Photoshoot: Cozy Vibes

Being in a space where you feel comfortable can make such a difference in how you present yourself! It was clear that Alex and Nicole felt at ease in nature, and I’m sure the cozy attire they were in helped a little too! The cozy vibes were definitely a perk of having a camp photoshoot, and it is reflected in their photos! The entire setting of this couples session was just so so so fun and beautiful.

Don’t Underestimate Yourself!

80% of the people I’ve photographed go into their shoot saying, “We’ve never really done this before”, or “We can be awkward, so we will need direction from you.” If you can relate to that, I promise it will be okay! Yes, I will give you direction and provide you with prompts, but I’m not the key. The key to having a relaxed, comfortable photoshoot is to have fun! Focus on one another, have fun, and I’ll be here to capture all of the moments and details. Don’t underestimate yourself! I always see magic happen. Just look at how incredible this camp photoshoot was!
