My #1 Tip as a Couples Photographer for Amazing Photos

This session was so special, not just because it was with a friend of mine, but we were basically capturing their engagement & maternity photos all at once!!! Tina was about 20 weeks pregnant when we got together for their engagement session. Continue reading to check out my #1 tip as a couples photographer for amazing photos like these!

The most incredible photos happen when you have FUN!

Tina & Danny were a bundle of JOY! Their energy was so awesome, and they were down for anything and everything as I provided them prompts. It was honestly so great to see them interpret the prompts I was giving them! And truly, they did everything I suggested. I could tell they were getting more and more comfortable throughout the hour we were together, and you can tell from the photos! It went from sweet to a lil spicy, to just downright fun!!! When you’re having fun, your smiles don’t feel forced, you feel relaxed, and your confidence shows in your photos!

Bonus Tip: Trust Your Couples Photographer!

Real magic also happens when you trust your photographer. It’s super important that you connect with your photographer, love their style of photography, and trust that they know what they’re doing! Try the crazy prompt and listen to their advice (they also want you to look good!).
