California Wedding Venue: Malibou Lake

Catalina and Dan were such a sweet couple to work with. They were so lighthearted and kind with one another. It was such a beautiful day to witness with them. They picked such a stunning California wedding venue and really thought about each small piece to add to their day. Their florals, her dress, details, etc. were all beautiful!

The Lodge at Malibou Lake

The Lodge at Malibou Lake is such a hidden little gem. I’ve been all around Malibu, and the Santa Monica mountains, but I’d never known there was a venue like this… nor a lake in the middle of the mountains! If you are looking for incredible views for your upcoming California wedding, I would highly recommend checking out this venue!

This California wedding venue was especially beautiful and unique because they allowed us to go directly to the lake to capture the couple’s portraits. And I have to say, stunning views all around! The venue also offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. This wedding happened to have a bit of both (dinner outside, partying on the inside)!

Romantic Wedding Details

All of the details for this romantic wedding were so intentional and elegant! Her dress was stunning… that lace train, COME ON!!!! Her hair piece was so cute, and the florals were some of my favorites. The colors were beautiful, and they all had little succulents in them… I absolutely loved that look! Plus, I really enjoyed working with their wedding planner, Emily. She was so helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the day. Then, having the wedding at this gorgeous California wedding venue was like the cherry on top!
