Before I photograph Caitlyn and Adam’s romantic and timeless 1920’s themed wedding in March, we got to know each other better at their beach engagement session! Caitlyn and Adam are both extroverted, fun, and kind. They took all of my direction smoothly and added in their own personality through it all. There was so much good energy at their engagement session, and I absolutely can’t wait to photograph them on their big day! Their positive energy is unmatched, and it was so fun to capture their Point Mugu Naval Base engagement session!
The original plan was to take photos at El Matador Beach in the morning, but the super small parking lot filled up quickly! Adam and Caitlyn suggested we head down the road to the Point Mugu Naval Base as Adam knew the perfect spot we could take some photos. It ended up being PERFECT! In fact, it became more full circle in the long run. Adam’s parents got married on the beach at the Point Mugu Naval Base, and their wedding venue is where Caitlyn’s parents got married! HOW COOL!
I absolutely love getting to know my couples before their big day! After engagement photos, I’ve noticed that my couples are more relaxed on their wedding day. You understand how I operate, you know more of what to expect, and feel more confident because you’ve taken professional photos before! So if you’re thinking about whether or not to do an engagement session, my vote is yes! Plus, you get stunning photos to cherish your memories from your engagement season. You can even use them for save the dates, wedding invites, and more!
Yay! Let’s do it! I would love to capture your love and get to know you better before your big day! Fill out my contact form to book your wedding or engagement session, and we can make it official!
